This recruitment process was quite disappointing. I went through four rounds, including an assessment, a senior round, and a lead round, and got good feedback in all of them. But then, after the manager round, I didn't get any real response. Just a generic email saying my profile wasn't a good fit for the role's specific needs right now. It makes me wonder why I was moved ahead in all the previous stages if alignment was an issue. I thought I did well in the manager round too, and I'd really like some specific feedback. Some constructive criticism would be super helpful for me to improve and get ready for future chances. Waiting two weeks for multiple interview rounds and then getting such a vague rejection was really disheartening. I think they could improve the feedback and communication to make the candidate experience better and strengthen their hiring process.

Technical Coding Behavioral

I applied on LinkedIn and heard back about a month later. They first had me do a pre-recorded video interview where I answered some basic questions about myself. After passing that, I proceeded to the actual interviews, which consisted of 3 rounds: one technical and two behavioral. I specifically asked my recruiter if the technical interview would involve coding, and they said no. However, I was still given a Leetcode easy problem and an object-oriented design question. The behavioral interviews were standard STAR method questions. It was a pretty straightforward interview process, so just make sure you're solid on C# OOP concepts.

Behavioral Technical

I had 6 interviews, with HR and what were supposed to be technical people. Scopely didn't follow up on the hiring process much after these interviews. I had to ask about the technical interviews 4 times after a week and a half. It felt like they didn't care about the candidates. The interviewers, besides HR, were not great, and 2 of them were pretty unprofessional. I kept getting asked the same questions, which felt like a waste of my time.
