Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Scooter's Coffee.
Barista
They mostly wanted to know about my past experience in the industry and when I can work. They asked about working in a fast-paced team and if I wanted to grow with the company. Salary questions and personal life questions were also asked.
- What's your availability and what experience do you have?
- Can you tell me about your previous industry experience and your availability?
Barista
Got a call for an interview after a couple of weeks of waiting. I was excited to interview since I've always wanted to be a barista. When I got there, I met the manager who was very nice. They asked me some standard questions and then asked if I had any questions. I inquired about benefits and got a brief explanation. Soon after, they offered me the job, which I accepted. I've been with them for a few weeks and the training has been good, I'm enjoying learning and meeting people.
- What would be the one thing you'd change about yourself?
- Could you tell me about the benefits?
Barista
The interview process was pretty easy, they mostly wanted to get to know me. Given that there aren't many jobs around, demand is high, but the managers are nice. It was a group interview, which made it a bit hard to keep my answers short and sweet.
- Could you tell me your GPA?
- What is your availability like?
- What are your future career aspirations?
