First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Scooter's Coffee.
Barista
Got a call for an interview after a couple of weeks of waiting. I was excited to interview since I've always wanted to be a barista. When I got there, I met the manager who was very nice. They asked me some standard questions and then asked if I had any questions. I inquired about benefits and got a brief explanation. Soon after, they offered me the job, which I accepted. I've been with them for a few weeks and the training has been good, I'm enjoying learning and meeting people.
- What would be the one thing you'd change about yourself?
- Could you tell me about the benefits?
Cashier Barista
It was pretty chill and fast, a manager just asked a few things about when I could work. I got hired right after the interview, which happened outside the store. Great for someone looking for their first job or a simple gig.
- What are your long-term career aspirations?
Barista
The interview process was pretty easy, they mostly wanted to get to know me. Given that there aren't many jobs around, demand is high, but the managers are nice. It was a group interview, which made it a bit hard to keep my answers short and sweet.
- Could you tell me your GPA?
- What is your availability like?
- What are your future career aspirations?
Talent Acquisition Manager
The interview process involved a 1st round phone interview and a 2nd round video interview. Although I didn't get the position, the overall experience was very positive. They responded quickly and I wasn't left waiting for weeks. I would definitely recommend them despite not getting an offer.
