Great process with some fantastic people. The Scoop team was very responsive and accommodating to my schedule, and I enjoyed my experience with them very much. Unfortunately, we couldn't find a time for an onsite before I accepted another offer, but everyone I worked with here was extremely nice and competent, and I would highly recommend others to apply.

I saw the job on Angel List and reached out. Got set up with an initial video call with an engineer the very next day. Then, the following week, I had a technical video screen. The person interviewing me was nice and tried to help me out during the technical screen. I think I just overthought the problem and couldn't find the simplest way to solve it until the very end.

Behavioral

I had a phone screen back in late 2016 with one of the engineers. When I brought up the topic of office noise due to my sound sensitivities (I'm autistic), the interviewer's demeanor changed significantly, becoming quite cold, and they ended the call. While they might have improved their inclusivity since then, this experience deeply affected me and heavily influences my thoughts on disclosing my neurodivergence to employers when I consider future opportunities.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Could you describe the office environment regarding noise levels, considering I have sound sensitivities due to being autistic?
