Customer Service Manager
I met with the hiring manager on December 17, 2010 and it appeared to go quite well. I was told by the HM that a decision would not be made until after the holidays as he would be out for holidays. I followed up with a thank you letter, thanking him for taking the time to interview me. Unfortunately, I have not heard from him or any response since the interview. I can understand no response if I just sent an application, however they called me for an interview. It would be nice and professional of them to respond one way or another.
- Tell me about your knowledge of our company.
- What prompted your departure from your previous role?
Customer Service Manager
I got a call for an interview the next day. I met with the GM. He was really upfront about the job, saying it means really long hours (12+ a day), no sick pay, and almost no holiday pay. If you're sick, you have to make up the time on a Saturday. He wanted to make sure I understood everything to get the right person. He mentioned two weeks vacation after a year, but only in 1-week chunks. They'll match 401k up to 5% after the first year. I decided this role wasn't for me because I have a life outside of work. The experience was good though, because he was so honest. They basically need someone with no life outside of work.
- Can you tell me about your last 15 years of experience?
Customer Service Manager
The phone interview went well. I have my 1 on 1 interview tomorrow. I've been researching the company and have mixed feelings due to many positive and negative reviews. I'll decide how to proceed based on how things go.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Describe a time you didn't meet a sales goal and how you recovered from it.
