Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Schroders.
Senior Manager
The interview process is slow and requires improvement in how they engage with candidates. The role was advertised and then I was contacted by a Talent Acquisition person via email to set up an online interview. It was unclear and confusing that the TA was outsourced. I had to follow up continuously.
- The questions asked depend on the specific role and the level.
Manager
The interview process was good and well-balanced, with team members asking good questions. I had a good experience and received feedback quickly. The offer process was also quick, with balanced feedback. The environment was nice for both physical and telephone interviews.
- How do you see your training principles fitting into this position?
Manager
They were professional and efficient, setting up all the interviews in just two days. The structure was good, and the managers were friendly. Each interview lasted about an hour and involved two managers. It started with self-introductions, then they asked questions about my past experience.
- Can you describe a situation you faced and explain how you dealt with it?
