The hiring process was pretty simple: submitted my resume, then had one interview that covered both technical stuff and behavioral questions. They also gave a clear timeline for what happens next. The stages were few and easy to follow, which made the whole experience feel very focused.

Case Behavioral

The assessment centre had two parts, a case study and an interview. It wasn't too hard nor easy. Before going into the assessment centre, definitely do your research on their competitors and their USP (something they're currently working on and wish to be a pioneer in finance for) and incorporate that into your "Why Schroder's?" answer. It definitely would show that you've done your research and are really interested in the firm.

Behavioral Technical Group Presentation Case

First, I had to submit my CV and answer some questions. Then there was a situational judgement test and an aptitude test. After that, I was invited to a video interview where they asked me about basic competencies like working in a team to solve a problem and improving a skill I was lacking. The assessment centre involved a non-technical group case study and an individual study, followed by an interview that was basically a general chat about my interests in the position and what I know about the company.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Can you describe an instance where you collaborated with a team to overcome a challenge?
  • Could you share an experience where you worked on enhancing a skill you initially struggled with?
