Had an initial chat with two people from the team. They seemed really keen and knew their stuff, and actually seemed interested in me. It would have gone to another stage, but it didn't work out in the end. HR was easy to deal with at first, and they actually called to let me know the result, which was pretty unusual. All in all, it was a decent experience.

The interview process was pretty slow, with two rounds taking almost a month from when I applied. I made it to the final round but didn't get an offer. They didn't give me any feedback, just said 'the other candidate was better.' What does 'better' even mean? It's like companies don't care that we candidates also put in time and effort. The least they could do after a long process is offer some constructive feedback to help us improve for future interviews, but nope, once you're rejected, they're done with you. It feels disrespectful and makes me not want to interview with them again.

I applied via Sanctuary Graduates and they did an initial phone chat. After that, I had to do some online tests which included numerical questions and coding questions, and also a recorded video interview. I was then invited to an assessment centre in London, which was a bit of a rush as I had to travel from Scotland just 4 days before. The day itself involved a one-on-one chat with two people from Luxembourg, a really tough case study on software architecture that felt more like an economics test, and then a group project where we had to present. The personal interview was fine, but I felt the questions were a bit tricky, like asking about times I failed to convince someone. The case study used confusing terms and I felt I needed an economics background to get it. The group project about product management was the best part, really fun and collaborative. It was a shame though that they mentioned analysts who apparently never code. This programme is supposedly tech, but it felt like 90% business aptitude and not technical at all. So if you want to code, this might not be the right place.
