Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Schaeffler.
Working Student
I had a Zoom call with two interviewers. We mainly discussed my personal fit and past work experiences. They asked about my previous roles and how they would align with this current position. They said they'd get back to me within a week, but I never heard from them.
- What strategic tasks did you perform in previous roles.
Working Student
The interview process was quite straightforward. I had a conversation with a team manager about my past experiences and what I'm interested in. It felt like a casual chat with a colleague, which was a positive experience. During the conversation, there were also some theoretical technical questions.
- What motivates you to join Schaeffler?
- Can you describe your understanding of the automotive industry?
Working Student
The process was friendly and covered content questions. They introduced the company and described the tasks. It all went well; I could both listen and speak myself. Working hours, the onboarding plan, and further training opportunities were mentioned. All in all, very friendly and professional.
- How long did you plan to work as a working student?
- How do you act under pressure?
