Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Scale.
Operations Specialist
Great process, really fast getting through the stages. Everyone was nice, and the interviews were short and to the point. Asking questions during the process is super helpful.
- What makes you the best candidate for this company and role right now?
Operations Specialist
After an initial screening interview, there were four more interviews with different employees. Two of those interviews were pretty good and conducted well, but the other two were just average. Basic math skills are necessary as they might ask you a problem. After the five interviews, it would be good to provide some follow-up when rejecting a candidate instead of just sending a generic rejection email.
- What motivates your interest in this role?
Operations Specialist
There were about 4 or 5 video call interviews. Two were problem-solving, and one was about company values. Most of it was in English. They asked me about specific company scenarios and how I would handle staff.
- Can you tell me about your background and past experiences that show certain skills?
- Could you share experiences where you demonstrated a particular skill?
