I went to the store to meet with a manager, but she seemed busy and didn't want to shake my hand. She told me she was busy and to wait while she finished up before interviewing me. I waited for about an hour. Then, a different manager came to interview me. She said she had other interviews, but I didn't see how that affected my scheduled appointment. While walking to her office, an employee gave me a nasty look and checked me out. The interview lasted over an hour, and she read questions from three pages. The questions seemed repetitive, asking the same things in different ways multiple times, and she made me repeat my answers a lot. Despite the slow start, the manager seemed nice. She liked my answers, and I filled out employment forms and my availability. She told me my schedule and guaranteed me the job. It's been 20 days, and I've called three times. Each time, they say the manager hasn't scheduled the next interviews and I'm still a candidate. The management seems really disorganized, and I don't like when employers promise a job and then are hard to reach about the offer. I want some clarity.

I got a call and was supposed to have my interview the next day. When I arrived, the interviewer wasn't there, but someone else interviewed me. They seemed rushed because another worker kept needing my interviewer, who was sitting on a dirty windowsill in the front for everyone to see. Then, I had another interview. After that, I was asked to come back for one more interview with the person who was originally supposed to interview me first. That seemed good, and she said she voted yes and gave me the impression I was good. I waited a few days and called to follow up, only to be told that unfortunately, they decided to go another route. Inexperienced management, glad I didn't fit.
