First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at SAVENCIA.
Chef de Secteur
Had an in-person interview at the headquarters with the HR manager and the regional manager. We presented the sector and its specifics, followed by various questions. The interview lasted about an hour and had many tricky questions.
- Tell me about a typical day in your life.
- What motivated you to apply for this particular role and company?
- What is your performance in the sector?
Senior Brand Manager
First contact with HR and in-person interviews with my direct manager and their manager in 2 separate meetings. A month and a half after the in-person interviews, no feedback from them, despite my calls and follow-up email. In a word, I'd describe this experience as: disappointing. There's no valid reason not to keep candidates informed or give them feedback. I want to add that I had already worked for this group several years ago, in one of their subsidiaries abroad. Until now, I advised everyone to go through this company that I valued highly...
- Can you tell me more about your background?
- Walk me through some of your past projects/missions.
- What do you see as the future challenges for the brand, and how does that align with your market understanding?
Product Manager
There were 2 interviews. The first one included a standard interview that then switched to English for the rest of the standard interview, followed by a presentation of a project in a format of your choice, and some exercises. The second interview was a standard interview.
- What makes you want to join this specific role?
- Why are you interested in joining this company?
- What interests you about the product manager profession itself?
Category Manager
There was a great HR interview that lasted 1 hour, followed by a 1-hour meeting with the manager. We talked about my background, successes/failures, the management style I'm looking for, and what my manager would say about me. It was a discussion, and I didn't feel trapped like sometimes happens in interviews.
- Tell me about your greatest success
- Tell me about your career path
- What have been your successes and failures
