First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Savannah River Nuclear Solutions.
Associate Engineer
After submitting my application, HR reached out to schedule an onsite interview in Augusta, GA. Upon arrival, a colleague met me, gave me a tour of the city, and took me to my hotel. The next morning, the same colleague picked me up and brought me to the site for a general tour. After seeing the facilities and meeting some potential teammates, I participated in a group interview where we were asked about our skills and competencies. Later, I had lunch with the colleague and the engineering director. Following lunch, the colleague showed me some potential housing options before driving me back to the airport.

Associate Engineer
After 8 months of applying online, I got a call. We had a 30-minute phone chat. A week later, they emailed me about an on-site interview. SRNS covered my flight, car, and hotel for one night. A senior engineer took me to dinner the night before. The next day, my host and I drove around the site for about 45 minutes to get acquainted with the area. Then, I had a 45-minute panel interview with three engineers (no HR). The final part was lunch at the facility. I didn't hear back for 3 weeks, so I called and left a voicemail. An hour later, I got a generic rejection email.

Associate Engineer
Got a call a while after applying for an onsite interview. They set up my travel. There was a dinner with an engineer the night before the interview, then the interview the next morning. It included a tour of the place. I got an offer about a month later. It was a great experience, but it took a long time for things to happen.
