Research Associate
I had a full day of meeting the team, which included some research associates, the hiring manager, and the lead engineer. Everyone was very nice and approachable. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough technical experience for the role, which was fair, but it was a decent experience overall.
- Can you tell me about your resume?
- What can you tell me about your resume?
Research Associate
HR was super responsive, but the director/hiring person never got back to me or replied to my emails. Had to talk about my previous jobs/projects and the lab techniques I know.
- Can you elaborate on your research or job experience at XYZ?
- What are your career aspirations and future plans?
- What are you hoping to gain from this opportunity?
Research Associate
It was a full day of online meetings. I spoke with the recruiter, my potential manager, a research associate, a scientist, and the head engineer. Everyone was very friendly and asked standard interview questions. The head engineer, however, really dug into the specifics of my resume. Be prepared to thoroughly explain everything on your resume, including class topics, and to think quickly.
- Can you explain T tests?
- Can you explain Confidence Intervals?
- Can you explain degrees of freedom?
