I went through three rounds of interviews for a role at SCRI. I made sure to be polite, professional, and show my enthusiasm for the job and joining the team. After the last interview, I waited two weeks and then sent a polite follow-up email to the hiring manager, who was my last contact, to ask for any updates. Sadly, I didn't hear back. Then, a few days later, I saw my status in the application portal had changed to 'No Longer Under Consideration' without any notice or explanation. So basically, I was ghosted after not being chosen. It was pretty disappointing and unprofessional not to get any closure or communication at the end. I hope they can improve their candidate experience going forward.

I had an initial call with the recruiter where they told me the job description changed to be social media focused, twice. So I prepared for the first interview for that. Then, during the interview, they said that wasn't true and I was caught off guard by the hiring manager. I did my best but didn't get the job because they hired internally. They mentioned 'communication challenges' and seemed to have issues with my attire for a video call, even though I wore a professional blouse. It was disappointing because I was really looking forward to it.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

A recruiter reached out to me about the role. First, I had a 30-minute screening call with the recruiter. Then, I interviewed with a director for an hour. It seemed to go okay, but I didn't hear back for two weeks. The recruiter then scheduled me for another 30-minute interview in two weeks with a different director and a team member. The director didn't show up. The interview with the team member went well, and they asked if I'd be up for another, longer interview. I said yes and was told I'd get an email to confirm. A week later, I followed up with the recruiter, who then sent an email saying I was no longer being considered. This drawn-out process and poor communication made for a bad interview experience.
