The interview process was pretty standard with about 7 or 8 rounds. The interviewers were polite and asked relevant questions. They focused mainly on data structures and core Java, though leadership skills were touched upon a little. There were some standard questions about consumers and producers and the collection framework. For the 1x1 interview, they had us come in on a Saturday and it lasted most of the day.

For those applying as a consultant, you need to be really good at the core Java, DS, and DB basics. Intermediate J2EE knowledge is sufficient. Design patterns and difficult Data structure questions aren't typically asked for a consultant position, maybe more so if you were applying to the Engg team.
