Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Santander.
Business Analyst
I had a personal interview with an external company. The interviewer was very unpleasant and told me that with my experience I was not suitable for the position (I don't understand why she interviewed me then).
- Which was your preferred class?
- Tell me about your availability.
- In what division of the bank would you prefer to work?
Business Analyst
This role's interview was pretty standard, with two rounds. Mostly, they asked scenario-based questions to check problem-solving and critical thinking, covering both technical stuff and how I interact with people. It was a typical but good way to evaluate candidates.
- Can you describe your past roles and responsibilities?
Analista
The process involved online tests, a group dynamic, and an interview with a psychologist. The main issue was the very slow response time, making the whole process quite long and a bit tiring. I'd recommend researching the company thoroughly, as they really focus on knowledge in the area. Overall, it was a good experience, but the communication about feedback was problematic; they said they tried to contact me several times, but I never received any response.
- How do you handle pressure?
- What are your aspirations within the company?
