It was a good experience. The panel was nice and accommodating, making me feel comfortable. It wasn't all serious; there were moments of laughter. They asked about my inspiration, why I chose the career, and how I would sell a product.

I had a 3-stage interview process. First, a recruiter call. Then, a technical screen where they asked some general behavioural questions like 'Tell us about yourself and your experience as a Business Analyst' and 'Describe a time when you had to deal with a difficult stakeholder. What did you do?'. They also asked more technical questions like 'Explain the difference between a functional and a non-functional requirement' and 'What’s your experience working in Agile or Scrum environments?'. Finally, there was an onsite interview that was scenario-based, for example, 'You’re given a high-level business problem. How do you approach solving it?'

So first, we do a quick screening to make sure you're basically qualified. Then, you'll have one or more interviews where we really dive in, asking behavioral, technical, or situation-based questions to see if you've got the skills and if you'd be a good fit. After that, the hiring team gets together to look at all the feedback and decide who to hire.

Submitted an application online through a job site. Then there was an assessment and a language test. This was followed by an interview that included questions in both English and Afrikaans. They asked basic questions about my study history, work experiences, goals, and growth (though there's no growth path in this role).
