Project Manager
The interview process started with a screening call, followed by an introductory first round. The second round was a scenario-based exercise where I met one person on-site and another via video. During the visit, I got a tour of the workplace, which wasn't the best.
- How would you kick off a SaaS project?
Project Manager
The interview process started with a pre-screening call with a recruiter. Then, there was a video meeting with two hiring managers where they asked typical situational questions. After that, I had a face-to-face meeting with the hiring managers and their supervisor, which involved a hypothetical exercise to assess my competency. Finally, I met with supporting department leaders to determine my fit within the team. I haven't heard back in three weeks, and the whole process took 5 months.
- What are your motivations for joining our company?
Project Manager
I got referred internally before applying online and then connected with the hiring manager. They set up an interview for me within the week. When HR called me for a phone interview, I mentioned I was on my way to a mock interview, so they arranged my interview with the hiring manager right away. It went great, and the hiring manager seemed impressed. Over the next month, I emailed a few times and then called. The hiring manager called back and told me I was a strong contender and interested in me, so I applied for another role in the department. After two more interviews, I took a different position in the same department and met another candidate who was highly qualified (an internal applicant with way more experience). I think networking with past and present employees in the department really helped me out.
- What are your long-term career aspirations?
