First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Sandhills Global.
Intern
There were 3 interviews in total. The first one was a phone interview, followed by an HR interview, and then a final interview with my potential manager. They asked general questions about skills, education, and career goals.
- Tell me about your skills that would be beneficial for this role.
Intern
The first interview was a phone screening where they went over my CV and experiences. Then, I had an onsite interview with an HR rep where I got asked more standard interview questions. After that, I met the head of HR who went over questions and gave me an idea of what the last interview would be like. The HR people were really nice and even gave me some tips for the final interview. The last interview lasted all morning. I met with 3 managers together who all asked questions. The questions were pretty standard, trying to see my sales ability and motivation.
- Is money a motivator for you?
- Can you share an instance where you doubted a rule or guideline?
International Marketing
The first time I applied, they skipped the phone interview and immediately invited me for a location interview. I had to complete a couple personality tests online. When I went into the interview, I did the language test, spoke to the human resource recruiter and the head of human resources. I thought the interview went well, but they did not give me the position; they asked me to apply in a year after I had more experience. The second time I interviewed with them, they asked me to do the online personality tests again and complete a phone interview. I told them I was interested in the internship over the summer, but I would be leaving the country for a few months. I notified them that I could stay in contact for the process through email, phone, and video chat. They agreed, and we interviewed over the phone. I kept in contact while abroad, but they never answered despite the multiple emails and calls.
- Could you tell me about your strengths?
