First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Sana Commerce.
Marketing
The interview process includes some tests, a business case, and at least two interviews. These steps are meant to see if you have the technical skills, can solve problems, have business sense, and would fit in with the company culture. They want to make sure you're capable and a good cultural fit before they move forward.
- What is a potential negative comment a colleague might make about you?
Manager
This has been one of the most well-structured interview processes I've seen. From the very first contact, everyone was incredibly helpful. The recruiters were great – very professional and kept me informed at each step. All the interviewers were super friendly, and the interviews felt more like conversations. They gave a great sense of the company culture. The process included: Recruiter screen, Hiring manager interview, VP interview, a business case focusing on leadership, a business case about the role itself, and finally, an offer discussion. Overall, I'd give it a 5/5.
- Discuss your role and previous experiences.
Product Owner
First, there was an aptitude test and then a chat with HR about basic profile stuff. The next interview was more in-depth, covering behavioral, profile, and skills. After that, I had to do a big case study offline, which I then presented to the hiring manager and the team for about an hour, with questions on it. Finally, I had a quick 15-minute chat with some senior execs about my profile.
- Why do you want to transition to Product?
Digital Marketing Specialist
I went through three interviews. The first was with HR, and it went well. The second interview was with the manager, who was very pleasant. For the third interview, I had to give a presentation of a business case to the VP of Enterprise Sales and the CMO. After the last interview, I didn't hear back, so I had to chase them for an update. It turned out I didn't get the job because I lacked B2B experience, which I had already disclosed from the start. It was frustrating to put in so much effort only to be rejected for something they were aware of initially.
- Can you describe a time you faced a challenge and how you dealt with it?
