Research Associate
The interview process was about 5 rounds long, and it was one of the best interview experiences I've had. There was a special round called 'bar raiser' which is meant to check if the candidate fits the company culture. The technical interviews with the hiring manager and the team director were interesting and gave a clear idea of what the job entails.
- Tell me about a time you had a conflict with your manager and how you handled it.
Scientist
I applied in July and heard back in October for an interview. The interviewer was actually from a university lab collaborating with Sana, not Sana itself. They seemed unaware of the specific position or its duties. I was then ghosted, which felt very unprofessional.
- Can you describe your computational experience?
Engineer
The interview went smoothly. After talking with HR, I had the interview with HM. I had 20 minutes of technical discussion with the hiring manager followed by some follow up questions regarding my availability and company’s culture and vision. I have been told at least twice that I will be contacted by HR for next steps, but got ghosted! It’s absolutely ok if the HM didn’t felt that I am good fit, that happens in a lot of the interviews. However, ensuring people that they will hear back for next steps, and then not even sending a rejection email to let the candidate know about the decision is unacceptable!
- Tell me about yourself and engage in technical discussions.
- What is your availability?
- What are your thoughts on the company's culture and vision?
Lab Technician
So first I had a phone interview, it was with Skills Alliance and they sent over notes. Then I had an in-person interview with like 4 people from their team. The phone interview was pretty chill and laid back, but the in-person one was super stressful.
- Can you provide in-depth answers about your resume?
