We kicked off with a quick online interview that focused on my past experiences and asked things like 'why you?'. If I passed that, I had an all-day in-person interview from 8am to 5pm with everyone else who made it to the second round. There were about 30 of us, and we all started the day together in one room for an icebreaker. Then, we split into smaller groups for a few hours. After a lunch break, we were called one by one for short individual interviews. Once my interview was done, I was shown the exit.

The interview process started with a 30-minute screening call. About a week later, I was invited to a group interview, which was the final stage. There were 35 candidates in total, split into smaller groups of 5. Everyone was really nice, and I enjoyed the experience even though I didn't get the job.

It starts with a 15-minute phone call that happens randomly, so be ready for that. The final round is an all-day, in-person group interview at Petco Park. The group interview might sound intimidating, but it was actually pretty fun interacting with the other candidates and the leadership team. The best advice is to relax and be yourself. Management seems to have favorites, especially if you went to their alma mater or attended big football schools in the middle of nowhere. It's unclear how the leadership team makes their decisions; they didn't really take notes during the group interview or provide any feedback throughout the process. You need to be bold and stand out. After the group interviews, what was annoying was that they said they "respected everyone's time" and acknowledged that a 7-hour interview is tough. They offered the courtesy of calling everyone to let them know if they got the job. However, they never called or responded to my follow-up email about the status. My recommendation to management: Don't promise to inform EVERYONE if they got the job if you're not going to follow through.
