There were two interview rounds. The interviews were situational and behavioral, pretty straightforward and done over Teams. It was a chill interview, nothing unexpected. The interview went well and wasn't longer than 2 hours total.

I applied online, and after two weeks, the HR sent me an email to complete an online application and take a behavioral test. Three months later, a senior engineer contacted me for an interview. The interview process felt like a fraternity pledge, with them stating they prioritized entertainment over technical skills. It seemed predetermined, with the company needing to interview a certain number of candidates for administrative purposes. The work itself, in civil/structural engineering at SDG&E, is quite straightforward with standard designs, offering minimal challenges. Getting hired might depend on personal connections.

So, first, a recruiter came to my school and did a presentation, and then they took resumes for interviews the next morning. It was all behavioral, so definitely practice the STAR method. If you pass that, there's an online behavior quiz. After that, they paid for my trip to San Diego for the second interview. The second interview was pretty much all day, with seven 1-on-1 interviews, each about half an hour, with 15 minutes breaks in between. They also threw in a complimentary lunch somewhere in the middle. The questions were mostly about my resume and experience, with a few easy technical questions mixed in. The whole process was really nice; everyone seemed to really like their jobs.
