San Diego Gas & Electric Electrical Engineer Interview Questions

Met some engineers and HR at my college career fair, gave them my resume, and chatted with one of them. That night, they called and asked me to come in for an on-campus interview the next day. The questions were all behavioral. A week later, they called to set up an in-person interview at their San Diego HQ. There were 6 interviewers, and one even took me to lunch! They were really nice and welcoming. The questions covered behavioral, technical, and conversational topics. I never got an offer, which was a bummer. I guess it might have been budget-related.

I applied through my school and they contacted me to set up an on-campus interview. It was with an engineer and an HR person, about 30 minutes long, and they only asked behavioral questions, no technical ones. After passing that, I was flown out to San Diego for the second round of interviews. This involved 7 back-to-back 30-minute interviews with directors and managers from different departments. One of them took me to lunch and interviewed me during that time. Most of them were focused on getting to know me and assessing my cultural fit. I thought it went well, but I never heard back from them.

The recruiters came to campus and I gave them my resume. They called me later that day and set up an interview for the next day. It was with a hiring manager and an engineer. They asked a list of questions, which was the whole interview. They asked standard behavioral questions. Then I got to ask them questions.
