First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Samsung Electronics America.
Logistics Specialist
After you apply, you'll have an HR interview, then a Teams interview, then an in-person interview. If they think you're a good fit, HR will give you a job offer.
- Can you describe your past experiences in the communication industry?
Logistics Manager
Pretty standard process, recruiter reached out and set up an interview with the Director and Sr. Manager. I'm not sure how many rounds there were since I only interviewed once and never got a response back.
- Can you describe your leadership style and the experience you bring?
- What technical skills do you possess?
- Tell me about your experience relevant to this role.
Logistics Coordinator
I put in my application for this job on Samsung's website directly. Got a call from them pretty quickly, maybe 2 to 3 weeks after applying. They set up the interview over the phone really fast, just 2 days after that call. Samsung seemed really professional, gave me all the right info about who I'd be talking to and the office staff were super professional too. I went in for the interview and first spoke with an HR person who asked me some standard behavioral questions. Then I talked to someone from the team I'd be joining and the director of that department. I got an email the same day to move on to the next step, which was a really basic Excel test done through their temp agency, since it's a temp job and that seems to be how they hire most people. I got the job offer the following week and did the paperwork, starting the week after that. So, from applying to starting, it took about 4 weeks in total.
- Tell me about your strengths and weaknesses.
- Can you share an instance where you prioritized the needs of others over your own?
- Have you ever taken the initiative to learn something new and become proficient in it?
