The interview process with Samsara was great! The recruiter, Roxan Flores, was very transparent about everything and guided me the whole way! I was so thankful to work with her through it all! Communication from everyone at Samsara was super clear and fast. Roxan called me really quickly after each interview to let me know if I was moving on, which I loved because I wasn't left guessing about how I did. Every leader I talked to during my interviews asked really relevant and professional questions and it was easy to chat with them. They also took my questions seriously and gave good answers. The process had 4 rounds and took about two weeks, and I got a formal written offer less than 24 hours after my last interview. I took the offer and started the job a week later.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

Applied through referral, recruiter contacted within 2 days. First was a behavioral interview with Recruiting about background and skills (4 days after applying). Next, an interview with the Hiring Manager focused on experience, goals, and accomplishments (30 mins, 3 days later). Then, an interview with the VP of Customer Success (30 mins, about a month later due to holidays/vacations). The virtual "onsite" happened two weeks later with the RVP of Sales and Director of CS (two 45-min interviews each focusing on the STAR method, asking for examples of addressing client risk, flagging issues early, and setting up a project plan). The final round was a week after that, involving a take-home project about an at-risk client (3 days to complete) followed by a 30-minute presentation to the VP of CS, with follow-up questions on thought process and planning. The offer came about 4 days after the final round. A recruiter managed the whole process, providing guidance and feedback before and after each step.

An HR person messaged me on LinkedIn to set up an interview. The interview was moved twice: first, 15 minutes before the scheduled time, then two days later. On the day of the second interview, the HR person was 10 minutes late but we had a good chat and she passed me on. The Hiring Manager interview was a joke. He was late and it felt like they had already selected a candidate. It was really unprofessional.
