Behavioral Presentation

The interview process was pretty straightforward and they respected my time. It had a few parts: first a recruiter call, then I chatted with the hiring manager, after that I had an interview with a sales leader, and finally, there was a presentation round. They told me what to expect from the start, which made it easier to get ready.

Got contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn and scheduled the interview. The person I interviewed with was different and seemed dismissive from the start of the video call. It quickly became an impromptu quiz about 'how would I' and 'what would I do'. I asked a few questions, and then they ended the call. As expected, I was notified shortly after that they were moving on with other candidates. Given that attitude, it's no wonder their department struggles with developing the insurance channel.

I was contacted by the recruiter and then had an HR phone screen. The recruiter gave me a quick overview of the company and the role. They also mentioned that the company really likes candidates who have stayed with an employer for a long time, and also likes employee referrals. Two weeks later, I had my interviews with the two hiring managers. One of them said they wanted the interview to be conversational, but it really didn't feel that way. I felt like I was being interrogated, and they didn't ask me about my background or experience at all.
