Kayla from Samba reached out, and after a quick chat, I saw the initial salary offer was a bit low. But she shared the company's vision, her career growth, and said there's room to grow as they scale. She even got the hiring manager to approve my minimum salary so we could proceed. I liked how they used AI to personalize the process and shorten interview times. All interviews were scheduled within a week, and everyone I met was smart, humble, and asked questions relevant to the job. I also got to meet my future teammates and my boss's boss. In three weeks, I got an offer with the salary we agreed on. The whole process was smooth, fast, and respectful—unlike other drawn-out interviews I've had. Big thanks to Kayla and the Samba team for their professionalism and culture. Excited to join this amazing group.

Got contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn and scheduled the interview. The person I interviewed with was different and seemed dismissive from the start of the video call. It quickly became an impromptu quiz about 'how would I' and 'what would I do'. I asked a few questions, and then they ended the call. As expected, I was notified shortly after that they were moving on with other candidates. Given that attitude, it's no wonder their department struggles with developing the insurance channel.

I had a great interview experience, starting with the initial call with the Talent Acquisition Manager. They clearly explained the role, team structure, and expectations while also taking the time to understand my background and career goals. The discussion felt conversational rather than transactional, which immediately made me feel comfortable and excited about the opportunity. Overall, it was a thoughtful and candidate-focused experience that left a very positive impression of the company.

Absolutely outstanding interview process. The HR team was very communicative and always kept me in the loop. What I enjoyed so much about the interview process was that it was very conversational. While I did not end up being a match for the role, I believe wholeheartedly in the full employee life-cycle and feel that the HR and recruiting team at Sambasafety heightened that experience.
