Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Sales Empowerment Group.
Business Development Representative
Honestly it was very easy. The first interview was a phone call with a recruiter, then whoever your manager would be, then an interview with the client. The recruiter call was 15 mins and the manager call was 30. The client interview varied, I did a few.
- Can you start by telling me about yourself?
Business Development Representative
First, I had a phone screening with a recruiter. They asked me about my experience and my resume, and why I'd be a good fit. After that, I had an interview with someone from the company, for the role where I would be setting meetings. It was pretty similar, they asked me about what kind of activity they could expect from me.
- What have you learned from your past job that prepares you to be a BDR?
- What did you learn in your experience at your last job that makes you a good fit for a BDR position.
Business Development Representative
Started with a phone call, then an in-person interview which included meeting with SEG and potential clients. The client interviews can differ, but my SEG interviews were pretty straightforward, mostly asking if I was enthusiastic about a sales career and if I considered myself a people person.
- Can you share an instance where you managed a workplace conflict?
