It was pretty straightforward, with about three interviews. First, a phone chat, then an in-person meeting with the General Manager and a sales representative, followed by another phone call with the VP in Glendale. Unfortunately, I never heard back, so no offer or rejection email came my way.

For this sales role at Salem Web Network, I had multiple phone and Skype interviews with important people. Then, I met in person with the head of the department and some sales team members. This was great to meet people I'd work with, get a feel for the culture, and ask everything I wanted to know. The interviews were chill and felt more like hanging out than a real interview. They seemed to care most about personality and fitting in, as long as you clearly know your stuff. Not scary at all – it was the best interview experience I've ever had. The HR phone interview was the 'hardest' part, where they asked all the usual questions and it lasted about 30 minutes. As long as you know your job, you'll be fine. The whole thing took around 1.5 months.

The GSM reached out for a quick phone chat, which led to a 1 on 1 interview the following week. During that meeting, we talked about the role and how my skills and personality would be a good fit, plus what it takes to succeed. A second interview was set up for the next week at their office with both the GSM and the General Manager. This one involved more personality and skills assessment questions. The holidays pushed our third and final interview back a couple of weeks. When I went back, I first chatted briefly with a senior account executive and got to ask some questions. Then, I met with the GM and GSM again, and at the end of that meeting, they offered me the job.
