This was a really interesting interview process for campus recruitment. I interviewed in 2014 from Pune (Pool Campus between COEP and AIT). It was a 2-day process with 2 aptitude rounds, a fun GD on a fictional topic meant to confuse everyone, followed by 2 sets of interviews. After selection, we were called to Chennai for the final interview and selection. We also had case studies to prepare before our final round. It was a good experience.

I applied through the campus drive, which they do at my university every year for internships and placements. The process is pretty much the same. First, there's an online assessment done by some third party. It has several parts: logical reasoning, numerical reasoning, and a short technical section. If you do well in the online part, you move on to a Group Discussion. The GD at Saint-Gobain is really unique and well-thought-out. Your team gets a puzzle to solve in about 15 minutes. To solve it, you need information that's split among team members, so you have to talk, work together, and figure it out. After the GD, there's a quick personality test, followed by a Technical + HR interview. The final interview is with the MD of Saint-Gobain at their Chennai office. This last one is probably the hardest to get through.

The interview process involved 4 elimination rounds and 2 non-elimination rounds. The first round was a BPAT test, which was MCQ-based and covered technical and aptitude topics. This was followed by a group discussion. Then there were 2 non-elimination rounds that were psychometric tests. After that, there was a combined technical and HR interview. The final round was an HR interview.
