Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Saint-Gobain.
Engineer
I had a good interview experience. The person who interviewed me was professional and made the conversation comfortable and engaging. The questions asked were relevant to the role and allowed me to clearly explain my skills and experience. The whole process was well-structured, and I appreciated learning more about the company and what they expect. Communication was clear throughout, and the interview felt respectful and fair.
- What do you know about the strength of materials?
- Can you explain Poissons ratio?
Engineer
There were two interviews, each about an hour long. First, I spoke with a recruiter who asked me a lot about myself, like my personality and teamwork skills. Then, I had an interview with a manager where we discussed my internship and project experience. They didn't ask super difficult technical questions.
- What led you to select your academic major?
Engineer
It was supposed to be a screening call, but then I had an hour-long call where they asked me a bunch of behavioral questions. My recruiter also gave me 'constructive feedback' after every answer, which didn't really feel constructive.
- Tell me about a time you were assertive.
