First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at SailPoint Technologies.
UI Engineer
Terrible interview process. It took weeks between each stage. After a 5 step process, which included a 3+ hour technical test mid way through, I was told they were not proceeding with me after the final culture interview, which I felt went quite well. I was given no feedback. I had 2 interviews after the technical assessment, one of which was a technical question interview, which I assume I passed to get to the final, and usually a formality, culture interview. I have been ghosted. Don't bother interviewing. I could have been told much sooner.
- Can you define XSS?
UI Engineer
Three interviews. The first two were general, covering previous experience and problem-solving approaches. The last interview was technical, involving a relatively straightforward exercise in Angular, though options to use React or plain JavaScript were available.
- Could you describe how you'd implement a debounce for an Angular autocomplete component?
UI Developer
I applied online and then had a call with a recruiter to start. After that, I had a technical phone screen with someone on the hiring team.
