The recruiter rescheduled on me even though I was flexible. They said they would get back to me but didn't, and I had to reach out. It took them 4 days to send a rejection email, and this was after I was incredibly flexible because the recruiter was having difficulties. This whole experience shows you should treat these employers the same way. DO NOT be flexible or easy going, they will waste your time. It's ridiculous that in this job market, knowing people are doing their best, they mistreat potential candidates. I wish Glassdoor allowed you to say the first and last name of the recruiter so future candidates know who to avoid.

Behavioral Presentation

So the interview process was pretty standard. First a call with the recruiter, then a bunch of interviews with people on the team. I had to juggle 4 or 5 interviews around my work schedule and also prep a presentation. They kept telling me I was doing great and would be a good fit, but then I got rejected. Seriously, know if you want someone maybe by the third interview. It felt like a lot of wasted time. I even had to chase the recruiter just to get the rejection. It was pretty disheartening.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process was quite smooth initially, with HR and hiring managers being very professional and respectful. The first screening call and the subsequent first and second interviews mainly focused on questions about my work experience. However, the third round was a very negative experience due to an interviewer who asked personal questions and made disparaging remarks about my current employment gap, even though my last role was due to retrenchment. This interviewer, who wasn't even a hiring manager but a key stakeholder, implied that industry connections were more important than my experience. This encounter turned me off the role, especially the prospect of working closely with such a person. At the end of the interview, he made a sarcastic comment about sharing feedback and hoping I find a suitable role, which made me realize I likely wouldn't proceed. It then took a full week to hear back, unlike previous rounds which moved forward within hours or a day. The entire process was unfortunately soured by this last session, despite my initial strong interest in the product and team operations.
