Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at SAIC.
Procurement Specialist
The interview was conducted over Zoom and included detailed questions about my past work experience, focusing on my strengths and weaknesses. The management team seemed very positive and energetic, and they also inquired about my career preferences and goals. Overall, it was a great interview experience.
- Why are you interested in joining our company?
- Could you tell us about your previous work experience?
- What do you consider your greatest strengths and weaknesses?
Planner
They were very responsive to my resume submission. After an initial phone screen, I was able to get into an interview session they were holding later that week. The interviewers were friendly and relaxed. They had clearly reviewed my information and were prepared to just get a sense of me, rather than having me regurgitate my resume.
- Tell me about yourself.
Purchasing Assistant
I had an interview with two people. One person didn't really do much, and the other was very direct and rude, cutting me off when I tried to answer. It seemed like they just needed anyone to fill the role. I didn't get much chance to ask my own questions.
- The interviewer mostly explained what the job entails and asked if I felt I could manage the tasks involved.
