Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Safran.
Project Manager
I had a call with HR, then an English test, a personality test, an interview with the manager, and finally an interview with the N+2. During the interview, the exchange was generally destabilizing. The project director seemed to lose all interest in my profile quite quickly, which translated into a distant and unengaging attitude. This experience gives an impression of a lack of consideration for candidates and a recruitment process that can be improved in terms of professionalism and respect. The announced human values are just a facade, run away!
- Can you describe your previous experiences?
- How would you handle a crisis?
Chef de Projet
Had a first phone call with HR, then an in-person meeting with the manager. I've applied to Safran before and had multiple interviews with management, and each time it's the same story: the process is super slow, and I never hear back after interviews, even when I follow up.
- Tell me about your experiences
Project Manager
First, there was a 10-minute phone call to set up a longer interview for the following week. Then, a second interview, about 1 hour long, focused more on my experiences and personality than on my skills for the internship tasks.
- How do you handle conflicts? (give examples)
