First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Safran.
Process Engineer
It was a pretty straightforward interview. I got a tour of the plant and met some of the team members. They showed me the specific processes I'd be responsible for. The tour was good, and the manager seemed knowledgeable about the business.
- Could you share your past experiences?
Continuous Improvement Engineer
So for the Continuous Improvement Engineer role at Safran, the interview process usually has a few steps. First, there's a phone screening to check your general skills and if you're motivated. Then, a technical interview happens to dig into your knowledge of improvement methods like Lean and Six Sigma, and to talk about your past work. Lastly, there's a final chat with HR and operations managers to see if you fit the company culture and your soft skills, and then maybe they'll offer you the job.
- How do you contribute to improving Lean standards across a group?
Process Engineer
The interviewer went on a rant about what the company was looking for. The requirements were high considering the salary offered was low. He was drinking water aggressively throughout the interview. Wish I could go back and not accept the interview.
- Can you tell me about the different types of components you have experience with?
