So first there was a phone interview, kind of a basic screening with behavioral questions. If that went okay, they set up an in-person interview with two people. That one was more intense, asking for in-depth answers, and they'd just wait for you to come up with one if you didn't have it, no moving on. If you passed that, they'd immediately set up an interview with the department head.
