Software Engineer
I had a phone call with the recruiter first, then we set up a zoom meeting with the team leader for a general chat. The next interview was with the team leader and a developer where they asked me to explain my development experience and gave me a task to do at home. After that, there was another meeting to review the task results and ask questions about it. Later, I interviewed with the VP of HR and the VP of R&D. Finally, I got a contract offer and signed it.
- What's your reason for leaving your current employer?
Senior Software Developer
They asked me a lot about the last product i was involved with, but it took nearly 3 hours asking questions and adding features and changing my product requirements, testing how i will respond to absurd details, not stopping making it more low-level and difficult until i was too tired to keep up - all in front of a white board.
- Could you explain, on a whiteboard, a process from your last product and how you improved it?
Software Engineer
Since it was during Covid, the interview was done over Zoom. First, I had to do a coding take-home assignment. After that, there was another interview where we went over the assignment and they asked me some professional questions.
- I was asked to build a NodeJS webserver that included rate-limiting.
- The main focus was on the rate-limiting logic itself.
