First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Safaricom.
Customer Service Representative
So first I applied online, then they called me for a phone screen to see if I was available and met the basic requirements. After that, I went in for an in-person panel interview. I met with HR and a department manager. We talked a lot about how I communicate, my past customer service jobs, and how I solve problems. They also wanted to know how I deal with stress, if I'm a team player, and what I know about Safaricom’s stuff. It all felt pretty organized and clear.

Customer Service Representative
It was pretty good, the interviewers were easy to talk to. The questions weren't super hard but you do need to study up a bit. Studying is important for this.
- Where do you see yourself in five years?
Customer Care Agent
First, I got a phone call about the job. Then there were three parts: a written test, a computer test, and an oral test. The written and computer tests were 40 minutes each and done the same day. After that, they let us know if we passed and invited us for the oral test two days later. The oral test was 30 minutes long. They told us if we passed two days after that, and we were supposed to start the day after we got that notification.
- Can you share an example of a decision you made in your past role that benefited your previous company?
