Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness.
Account Executive
This role's interview process was disorganized, demanding, lengthy, and annoying. All interviews were over 90 minutes, and scheduling was rigid, requiring me to take significant time off work. Despite feeling like a strong candidate and receiving a verbal offer, the recruiting director ghosted me after five interviews. When I finally reached her, she claimed it was unprofessional to complain about being ghosted post-offer. I wouldn't work for Saatchi & Saatchi again and have advised advertising friends to steer clear of this agency due to their lack of respect and courtesy towards candidates.
- In terms of client management, how would you approach a situation where a client has a pressing deadline?
Account Executive
I went to an assessment centre, which involved a group activity, a solo presentation, and some one-on-one chats. They said they'd send over written feedback, but it never came, even after I emailed them a bunch. HR took ages to tell me their decision and didn't even know my availability, which was right there on my CV.
- What makes you interested in this specific role?
- Can you describe your approach to staying motivated during dull or routine tasks?
- What's your reason for wanting to work in healthcare advertising?
Account Executive
The recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn. I wasn't looking at the time but kept in touch until I was ready for a new role. Luckily, something opened up when I was looking. It took about 2 weeks from the second contact to get the interview scheduled. I got an offer about a week after the interview.
- Can you describe your working style?
- What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
