First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at S9 Architecture.
Architect
You go through two interviews. The PMs seemed stressed and dismissive, giving off a weird vibe that hints at the workplace culture. You have a few days to accept the offer, which felt like an ultimatum. Trust your gut feeling.
- Could you describe your involvement in the projects you've presented?
Architectural Designer
The interview process was quick and to the point. The HR person was great, and the principals I spoke with were nice and seemed genuinely interested. After the interviews, they showed me around the office, and I got to chat with some other employees about what it's like working there.
- Can you describe your specific responsibilities in the projects you showcased?
Architect
The interview was about 30 minutes. The interviewer did not introduce themself. The HR person seemed unorganized. It felt like a typical interview. We went over my portfolio, talked about my previous jobs, and discussed S9's culture and projects. The interviewer also talked about the firm's future and goals.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
