Applied online and got a call from HR the next day to schedule an in-person interview. The first round was with the owner and was pretty standard. I got an offer that day for a second interview, which involved shadowing an employee for the afternoon. This interview started around 1pm and ended about 8:45pm. During the shadow, I followed a sales rep or account manager around the Kansas City suburbs, trying to get consumers to upgrade or switch their cable/internet to the new AT&T Uverse package. The person I shadowed was friendly and asked typical interview questions throughout the day, while also assessing if I'd be a good fit for the position and company. I was told the entry-level role is meant to train you to become a manager within a year, managing your own team. The people were friendly, but the position wasn't for me. If you're okay with performance-based pay and sales targets, it might be for you.

We have a 2 round interview process. First, a meet and greet one on one with the owner/hiring manager. If you make it to the second round, you'll spend a day in the life with one of our account managers. You'll get to interact with customers and see what we do daily.

It started with a phone interview, then I had an in-person one-on-one meeting, and after that, an all-day group job shadow interview. During the job shadow, I was paired with someone from the company, and we went out into the city where they were going door-to-door advertising for AT&T.
