So we had 4 rounds in total. The first was an online assessment which was a mix of Python, SQL, aptitude, and data interpretation questions. Then there was a video assessment with 4 questions: tell us about yourself, why you're interested, how you'd approach a task, and talk about a project and any challenges. The last two rounds were interviews.

First up was a test with basic aptitude, SQL, and Python coding questions. Then a virtual round where I had to record and submit answers to their questions. After that, two interview rounds: the first focused on SQL data analysis, stats, and my resume (they really dug into my resume). The final round was a techno-managerial discussion with some puzzles, also heavily based on my resume.

I completed all interview rounds for a Data Analyst position in Bangalore and got an offer letter on April 27, 2024. HR asked me to finish a DevOps certification in 15 days and promised reimbursement. I spent 18,000 INR on the course and then accepted the offer. I tried contacting HR multiple times for updates but got no response. I ended up reaching out to the company directly and found out the offer was fake. Even though they used official-like emails, signatures, and a legitimate assessment, I'm confused if the company or scammers deceived me. The company later posted the same opening again. Beware of these fraudulent schemes.
