I scheduled a morning call. We went over company details and pay, and I asked some questions. They said I'd hear back this week. It's been 48 hours with no response. I'll call again, but if they don't respect time by not updating on the status, I'm out. Not interested in a messy company that can't even communicate after agreeing to do so.

I got a call from the hiring recruiter and they asked me a few questions before sending my info to the hiring manager. Then I had an interview on March 27th in Centralia, Wa, with two people. The interview went fine, and they only asked two questions about my work history and if I had SAP experience, which I do. I ended up asking them more questions (3-4) at the end. They said they'd let us know either way about an offer, but it's May 5th now and I still haven't heard anything, so I guess no offer. The hiring manager said he'd get back to me by the end of that week or early the next, but after calling him twice (left a voicemail once) and the recruiter twice (left a voicemail once), neither called back. It's bad to leave candidates hanging, especially after saying you'll reach out. Maybe they weren't serious about hiring, but they should stop wasting people's time and gas. It seems like this company often does this, which is unprofessional and looks bad for their hiring process.

I submitted my resume in early December and then spoke with HR on 12/19. HR took four weeks to schedule a phone interview with the hiring manager, likely due to the holidays. After that, things moved relatively quickly. I had previously quit a job that wasn't on my resume and didn't include my accountant experience from 20 years ago because it's not relevant to what I'm going for now. I've also been laid off three times in the last decade. I talked about all this with HR during the initial phone screen, so I didn't think it would be an issue. However, in the third interview, the VP focused on these omissions and the unexpected layoffs, spending 90 minutes grilling me like I was hiding something. This person was disrespectful and almost insulting. I was well-qualified and confident I would get the job, but after meeting with this VP, I emailed HR to withdraw my application. Interestingly, HR called a few days later to apologize for the VP's behavior, stating it violated company policy.

I interviewed a while ago now and I still haven't heard back from anyone, right after the interview I was told that they would get back to me the following week but no one did. I thought I aced the interview and had extensive experience and worked in the building before when it was another company on 2 different occasions. So, I ended up calling them and got a chance to speak to 1 of the interviewers and ask about the status of the process. He told me that he was still interviewing and would get back to me the following week, but I haven't heard from anyone yet. It's going on 2 weeks since that time. I was very excited about everything but now I just wonder what happened.
