Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at RXO.
Account Executive
It was pretty straightforward. You don't need to do a ton of prep, just be ready to hit the basic behavioral questions and make sure you've done your homework on the company. The main thing is to show you're really prepared for the interview.
- Are you comfortable working on the East Coast time zone and in person?
Account Executive
The interview process was efficient and smooth, with clear and timely communication. Leadership was approachable and engaging, and they did an excellent job outlining the role and setting expectations. Overall, it was a very positive experience.
- Can you share more about yourself beyond your professional background?
Business Development Executive
The interview process was quite disorganized, spanning two months with five interviews. There were two recruiters involved. Communication was poor, with a lack of coordination. After a 3-hour interview at their office, I was ghosted. They even confused me with a new applicant during a follow-up. This seemed to stem from the RXO split from XPO, leading to a lot of incompetence.
- Can you describe a time you handled conflict management without a resolution from operations?
