There was an NDA for the in-person interviews, but I'm sharing what I can. The process included a phone screen, a call with the manager, an analytical project in Excel (taking about 4-8 hours), a 1:1 in-person chat with the manager again, and then a final in-person 'culture fit' interview with HR and a sales exec. I really liked the process until the very end. The final interview felt a bit like a therapy session with strangers; they said some people cry or break out in hives, and it wasn't a joke. I didn't answer a personal question and was pushed to reconsider. This conversation wasn't about work, but about me as a person to see if I'd fit. I think this is a flawed way to hire because it doesn't separate personal and professional selves and favors a certain personality type. They had a DISC chart, but didn't seem to value diverse thinking. No feedback was given, which was surprising for making it so far, especially since they say they are transparent.

At RXBAR, we do things differently and always go the extra mile. Our interview process is no different. We believe in service, and you'll feel that as soon as you walk in and are greeted. Just a heads up, anyone who sees you will likely offer you a drink because we're that nice. Everyone I met, from the start of the application all the way through the in-person interviews, was genuine and loved their job. The whole process took 4 weeks and was handled by the P&O department. They communicated well and followed through, making what's usually a stressful experience feel good. Like others have said, the culture and values really come through in the office. Collaboration and camaraderie are big here. My advice is to be yourself and give it your all. This could be the best part of your career, it was for me. Good luck!

Applied for the job and they reached out fast. Had a first phone chat that was just alright. They did ask a weird question about my hobbies outside of what's on my resume. I thought it went pretty well and they said they'd be in touch, but then nothing. It was strange because when I asked about the work environment, the person just said it was chaotic and everyone bonded over complaining about how much work there was. I felt the initial phone screen wasn't very professional.

The interview process involved 2 phone interviews and then one in-person interview. The entire process spanned about a month. While the interviews felt positive, it took over a week to hear back, which made me think they had moved on with another candidate. When they finally responded, their feedback didn't feel very genuine. The overall timeline between stages was too long, and I felt I invested a lot of time into an opportunity that ultimately didn't work out.
