I was contacted by the recruiter and was asked to come for an interview. I prepared everything and overall the interview went great. I seemed to impress the manager and he said that he likes my experience and it looks very relevant and what are my next steps. After that, I haven't heard about my application progress anymore at all. I wrote the recruiter, I wrote to the company - silence. What was it? Why can't you say a simple NO to a person who spent a half of the day visiting you? Never ever applying there.

Since I was not local, HR arranged for me to meet with a group of people all at once instead of having separate interviews on different days. I met with the HR Director, two other directors, and the hiring manager, so that was 3 people plus HR. It felt a little hectic but they were all nice and it was a pretty good experience. I didn't get the job in the end, but the HR Director said she'd like to keep in touch for future opportunities. Very professional.
