Senior Consultant
The interview process involves a client interview, as it's outsourced to a different client. If you get selected, you'll need to work from the client's location when applicable. It all depends on the client and the projects.
- Can you describe your technical skills and experience?
- How do you assess skill levels?
Analyst
The interview process was straightforward, with ample preparation guidance provided. There were three main rounds, not counting the initial screening. This role involves working with clients, as the company acts as a vendor, sourcing candidates for various positions with their clients. They maintain good communication and follow up consistently until a candidate is hired. Engaging through this vendor can simplify the hiring process compared to direct applications, though direct application would make you a full employee of the company, whereas going through a vendor results in a contract position.
- Where do you envision yourself in this industry in the next five years?
UX Researcher
My interview experience, which took place between September and October 2022, was quite straightforward compared to other companies. It mainly involved an initial screener with the recruiter, followed by two interviews with the hiring manager. The second of these interviews required a case study presentation. I've had as many as six interviews with other companies without receiving an offer, so this streamlined process was greatly appreciated. I suspect this was more due to the hiring manager at Meta Reality Labs than the Russell Tobin recruiter.

Internal Mobility Consultant
I worked with Adriana from Russell Tobin, a recruiter who focuses on HR roles. My job search happened quickly and Adriana was super supportive, treating me with respect and understanding. She knew I needed a new role fast but still made sure to show me options that actually fit my skills and experience. We had a first chat on the phone, then met in person so she could get a better idea of what I wanted. After that, I was put forward for a role at an investment bank. I had three interviews there over four days and got an offer on the fifth day. I can't say enough good things about Adriana. She really listens, advocates for me when needed, helped me prep, kept me in the loop, and still checks in. She's amazing and one of the few recruiters who genuinely cares about you and your career.
- Can you share your background?
- Could you discuss any HR or Recruitment projects you've handled in your prior banking experience?
- What are your career aspirations for this next opportunity?
